You've got to start somewhere, right?

HI! And welcome to Girl Meets Health. I’m the girl, Gracie =) And this is my very first post! I’ve got to admit that I had a million and half things I wanted to do with this blog before I even began posting. But I’ve realized that I’d end up taking forever to do those things, so why not just start posting! I kind of feel like I need to make some sort of huge introduction or description of this blog right about now, but let’s just skip that part for now and get to the good stuff…the FOOD!

I know that this is a huge no-no (and, clearly I’m going to have to make some changes if I really want to be a girl who is meeting health!) buuut I may or may not have skipped breakfast this morning :/ I woke up with a huge surge of energy and immediately began organizing my dresser (my room has become a “project” or sorts over the past few days) and then was in a tizzy to get to the gym.

At the gym I did about 15 minutes of abs, 25 semi-intense minutes on the elliptical, and a slow and steady 35 minutes on the treadmill. I left feeling perfectly sweaty and accomplished =)

When I got home I was starving and definitely ready for breakfast…er, lunch. I whipped up my average (yet favorite!) breakfast of a green monster and a ginormous whole wheat pancake topped with peanut butter.

^^This puppy packed in a solid 2 cups of spinach, 1 cup of vanilla Almond Breeze, a whole banana, and some Greek yogurt for protein.

Deeeelicious! I can’t say it filled me up 100 percent, though, so I’m thinking a second “lunch” is in order for a few hours from now!

I’ve off to work on my room again. Can I just say how truly wonderful Wonder Hangers are?! Aaand when I’m done with that I should probably work on the “About Me” section for this bloggity =)
